cairn

Trail marker to show the way. A practice of patience and a physical effort of creating balance. A focal point for ceremony honoring ancestors and spirituality. Each rock can signify an intention of grace for thankfulness, or offered up for another in need.

I am an integrative psychotherapist

I focus on increasing client self-awareness, facilitating personal growth and fostering enrichment in relationships of all kinds.

I’m glad you’re here. I see you. I hear you.

About Me

I am truly amazed by the human condition; in our suffering and our woundedness, and our capacity to keep going.

My therapeutic approach is to assist you in finding your own path to health, healing and self-awareness.

I have a Masters degree in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago. I have clinical experience in addiction treatment and recovery, community based disability advocacy, neurodiversity, outdoor experiential education and groupwork, and experience working with Veterans.   I enjoy working with a diverse clientele and I consider myself an experiential learner and practitioner. My experiences have spanned the range of teens and adults, and in all life transitions. I have experience in a hospital setting with people with traumatic brain injury, moral injury and trauma injuries, where I also worked with their families and caregivers.  I am trained as a massage therapist and I am a mother to two young kids.

Approach and Philosophy

I encourage a collaborative and holistic approach to therapy where mind, body and soul are all considered.  I can work with you toward an awareness and loosening of the patterns that have left you unable to live as authentically and healthfully as you might like.   I can encourage you to reconnect to what your body is telling you, as it is a source of important information.  Maybe what motivates you to reach out is a specific concern or relationship in your life, or a vague sense of dissatisfaction.  I do know our true self needs space to feel safe and be truly heard.  Therapy can be a safe place to be in relationship with your own mind and the world.  I provide gentle and empathic grounded perspective to therapy, with mindful intention, curiosity and humor.

My hope is that our time together becomes a space of belonging, a sacred space, where you can safely explore and know your true self.

Bring to therapy whatever it is you are carrying. And you will have my full attention.
